What is Gentle Scan?
Gentle Scan is a revolutionary alternative to identify breast cancer cells in their most preliminary stage. Gentle Scan is an efficient (7-second) Breast CT imaging device that obtains high-quality images of the breast allowing for the detection of early stage cancers with NO PAIN OR COMPRESSION.

Just lay down, position your own breast (the technician will confirm proper alignment), and get your 7-second scan per side.

FAQ
Is it safe?
The Gentle Scan Breast CT is approved by the FDA for diagnostic use, the highest level of approval given by the FDA.
When it comes to radiation, Gentle Scan was measured to be in the same range as diagnostic mammograms.
How much does Gentle Scan Cost?
Diagnostic Breast CT is covered by insurance (with our 6 CPT codes given by the AMA).
Screening Breast CT is still in the process of acquiring insurance codes. We believe the screening indication is the most important project currently in the product plan. The anticipated timing for a screening indication is by the end of 2024.
If you and your doctor have already established that you have dense breasts (which mammograms struggle to screen effectively), you can request a referral for a diagnostic Breast CT.
If you’re able to pay cash, you can book immediately. Prices vary by location but are generally much lower than costly MRIs.
How does this compare to ultrasound?
Ultrasound cannot be considered a replacement or substitute for a mammogram because it does not visualize calcifications and can miss many breast cancers without an initial mammogram.
Breast CT does visualize calcifications in addition to cancers as small as stage 0 and stage 1.
